Trip Proposal & Printed Intake Form

Give the gift of travel inspiration and advice, while still having something tangible to open on the day of!
The real gift is a pre-paid proposal, but I will mail you a paper “intake form” that your gift recipient can fill out by hand.
The act of filling in the form itself is a fulfilling experience, causing you to reflect on what you really want to accomplish and feel during your trip. It can be done as a screen-free date, family night, or solo self care activity. Engage in conversations about why you’re traveling in the first place - is it to sightsee, take a break from your routine, find warmth during winter, or experience a new culture?
The recipient can select three options:
- Destination brainstorming (they tell me they’d like a hiking focused vacation in October, and I’ll suggest Peru, Switzerland, and Albania.)
- Location breakdown (they tell me they want to spend a week in France drinking wine and eating, and I’ll suggest 2 days in Reims, 3 days in Beaune, and 3 days in Lyon, with a day trip to Côtes du Rhône.)
- Accommodation Suggestions (they tell me they’re spending a long weekend in Tokyo splurging on a 20th wedding anniversary and I’ll suggest the Hoshinoya, Aman, and Park Hyatt.)
All of these suggestions will come in a beautiful customized PDF complete with photos and a personalized description of why I chose the options I did, based on their group, interests, and needs. It will also include next steps for making their trip a reality! The hope is they find this useful, see the value a travel advisor can offer, and will choose to proceed as a client and book their hotels through me for no additional cost (hotel booking is always free!)

If the gift recipient is planning for a specific trip (10 year anniversary, 40th birthday, etc.) include that as well, and I will customize the title, content, or both!
